SANTA POLA
One of the most beautiful viewpoints on the Spanish Costa Blanca. Situated next to a historic lighthouse on a cliff edge— about 150 meters above sea level—it offers a breathtaking panoramic view of the Mediterranean Sea.
ISLA TABARCA
Santa Pola provides the fastest and most frequent connections to the island, being the closest town to it (about 8 km). You can get there either by a fast speedboat (15 minutes) or by a classic ferry (approx. 25–35 minutes), which offers a smoother and more comfortable ride.
SALINAS (SALT LAKES)
A natural park where you can admire majestic pink flamingos and learn more about traditional salt production. A walk here at sunset is an unforgettable experience
CASTLE (CASTILLO-FORTALEZA)
A historic 16th-century fortress right in the heart of the town. Today, it houses the maritime museum and a chapel, while its courtyard regularly comes alive with cultural events.
Mercadillo de Santa Pola (Open-Air Street Market)
A massive, vibrant, and traditional Spanish street market. It’s the perfect place to experience an authentic, bustling Mediterranean atmosphere.

Mercado Central (Central Indoor Market)
Located in a historic building right in the heart of the town, this daily indoor market is where locals go for the freshest ingredients. It features specialized stalls with high-quality meats, artisan cheeses, bakery products, and an incredible selection of fresh seafood caught daily by local fishermen.
Opening Hours: Monday to Saturday from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM (Closed on Sundays).
